Who we are
Wrekin Web Ltd, trading as WrekinWeb, is a limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 17498310. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Contact chat@wrekinweb.co.uk about your information or privacy rights.
Information we collect and why
When you enquire, we receive the name, email address, phone number, business details, project requirements, budget and timescale you choose to provide. We use these to answer questions and prepare proposals: to take steps towards a contract when you enquire for yourself, or for our legitimate interest in responding to business representatives. If you become a client, we use relevant contact, project and billing information to perform our agreement, administer the relationship and meet accounting or other legal obligations.
Website use and analytics
Our hosting provider may process IP addresses, request information and technical logs to deliver and protect the site, for our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. With your consent, Google Analytics processes device, browser and interaction information, including page visits and successful enquiry events. We do not intentionally send your enquiry fields to Analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings. See our cookies policy.
Newsletter
The newsletter sign-up form is provided by Brevo and loads when you choose to open it. If you subscribe, your email address and any details you submit are used to send the updates you request, based on consent. Use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact us to withdraw. Enquiring about a project does not automatically subscribe you.
Who receives information
We use Firebase (Google) to host this site, FormSubmit to deliver enquiry submissions to our mailbox, Google Analytics for optional usage measurement and Brevo for newsletter sign-ups and delivery. Our email and business service providers may process correspondence and client records. We may disclose information to professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or service providers needed to deliver an agreed project. We do not sell your personal information. Third-party websites linked from this site have their own privacy notices.
International processing
These providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is made, UK data protection law requires an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as approved contractual terms, together with any required transfer assessment. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
How long information is kept
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: to deal with an enquiry and reasonable follow-up, fulfil and support a client agreement, meet legal record-keeping duties or resolve a dispute. Newsletter information is used while you remain subscribed; a limited suppression record may be needed to honour an opt-out. Retention depends on the record and applicable legal duties. Contact us for details about a specific record. Cookie preference storage expires after 180 days; Google Analytics cookies may last up to two years.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive portable data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some rights have legal exceptions. Email us to make a request; we normally respond within one month, and may need to verify your identity. You can complain to the Information Commissioner?s Office (ICO). You do not need to contact us first to complain to the ICO.
Your choices and security
Enquiry details are provided voluntarily, but we may be unable to respond or prepare a quote without sufficient information. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal information through enquiry forms. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission is entirely secure. We do not use this website to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our services or data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
